		<description>Hi Hal,

Have you been reading my mind?

I have to say your article is the capstone to one heck of a
2011 for me. I have vowed to consistently run every future goal, achieved or
failed, through the principles you have expressed so well here. Let me explain.

In July 2010, I set what Jack Canfield would call a big,
hairy audacious goal that proposed a partnership with a very large, national
youth organization. In total I invested over a year of “me” equity. The
president was behind the proposal until the final hour when he and his
organization unexpectedly dropped out.

For the first 30 minutes, it was disappointing news. After
that, I immediately began to formulate in my mind my response which would be
the next morning. Basically, what lesson is to be learned here. The next morning I replied:

“Although this is a big disappointment for _________,
_________ has taught me an invaluable lesson. I can wait a year for an answer
and not go crazy in the process. This lesson will serve me well as I begin
another chapter in the pursuit of my big dreams. Thank you.

I used the word “wait” for lightly. It was more than simply
waiting for a positive outcome - it was demonstrating patience which required
actively working towards my goals and not getting discouraged when the positive
outcome didn&#039;t appear instantly or without effort.

I learned that patience is actively waiting and enduring. I
had to do all I could - working, hoping, and exercising faith; baring hardship
with fortitude, even when the desires of my heart were delayed multiple times.
I learned that patience is enduring it well.

And the greatest lesson of all that I learned - I now
possess the ability to detach myself from the outcome. I&#039;ve read and heard all
the great minds and high achievers teach that one needs to be able to detach
from the outcome in order to &quot;create&quot; one’s ideal reality. And I
accomplished that. WOW!

And would you believe five months later after this door closed,
another door opened and I’m back in the game!

Thank you for those words of yours that I refer to often – the
bigger the dream, the bigger the obstacles.

On a different note, I finally “got it”, only recently took your advice from way back
in March 2011, and tapped into my existing network of contacts within my
industry and have re-birthed my coaching practice into a Dream Team Coaching
model – our motto is “Together We Achieve More.” I’m the Dream Team Coach and I’ve
signed on 6 members to the team.  Our
first teleconference call is this Wednesday – for seven consecutive weeks –
plus a Synergy Party at a local hotel!

In a nutshell - Dream Team Coaching combines the power of
the coaching conversation with the gift of group support to create the life you
love.

Thanks Hal for believing in me!
